Emma Watson’s Money Shock
Emma Watson has admitted she had no idea how much money she had made from the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise until two years ago.
Emma Watson ”felt sick” when she realised she was a millionaire.
The 20-year-old ‘Harry Potter’ actress – who was cast to play Hermione Grainger in the wizarding movie franchise when she was just nine years old- was given an allowance of just £50 a week until she was around 17, when her father sat down with her for the “money conversation”.
Emma - who has an estimated £20 million fortune – said: “By the third or fourth film, the money was starting to get. serious. I had no idea. “I felt sick, very emotional.”
In a bid to cope, she enrolled on a course at Coutts bank to learn how to manage her money properly.
The British star – who is now studying at Brown university in America – recently had her long hair cropped and admitted she had the radical image change as a relation to finally finishing work on the ‘Harry Potter’ movies, as her contract with the franchise forbade her from cutting her locks, wearing make-up or getting her ears pierced during filming.
She told Britain’s Vogue magazine: “For the nine years I was on ‘Harry Potter’ I was contractually obliged not to cut my hair, not to tan.
“All the normal things girls do, I couldn’t. So when I got the chance to change my appearance, this is what I did.”

Fashion is a business, but you must always stay true to yourself.
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”

I love you Emma
