Cheryl Cole was told that she has malaria disease and that this is a potential fatal illness. It is possible that she took it from  Tanzania, Africa when she was on holiday with her friend and dancer Derek Hough. The 27-year-old singer is very well known arround the world and is respected very much for what she does in the show business. Her fame started with reality TV band Girls Aloud.

Derek Hough is convinced singer Cheryl Cole’s malaria diagnosis is “all his fault” – because he jetted the star off to Africa. The singer  has been in the hospital since collapsing over the weekend and being diagnosed with the deadly mosquito-borne disease. Hough feels guilty for her illness because he organized for them to vacation in Tanzania , where they think Cole got the ilness.

Aaron Nelson is Hough’s step-dad and he told Britain’s The Sun, “Derek feels guilty. He is very distressed about all this. He feels he has done this to her. He rang his mom yesterday in tears. Derek feels it’s all his fault. He organized the holiday as something wonderful. For it to end up like this is terrible. He feels dreadful. He really loves her.”

Doctors told her that she will be over malaria in six weeks, but she has to sort out her nutrition and de-stress.

The Sun newspaper said the singer had been following a blood-type diet but doctors have advised her to scrap it and take up yoga and Pilates to help deal with her stress levels. It added that although Cheryl – who is divorcing her husband Ashley Cole – won’t perform for the rest of the year, she should be fit and well in time for the X-Factor boot camp.
