She performed theater at the Seattle Repertory, She graduated from the Juilliard school with a degree in drama. Then she started working in movies with the Whoopi Goldberg. Her first movie was Vital Signs in year 1990, she also did many television series but her first Program was ‘Family Ties’ – In this she was playing the role of Marty Brodie, She did this series from 1987 to 1989.
